Dear Concert Ticket Holders:

What a night! First and foremost, thank you. We extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped put chairs away, took down tables, and packed up all the items needed to put on a performance of this magnitude. Your help was invaluable and very much appreciated.

While we were happy that beautiful piano music was heard in downtown Osseo, we were of course very disappointed that the concert lasted for less than an hour due to rain and wind. We should count our blessings that we didn’t experience hail or stronger winds.

The decision to go ahead with an outdoor concert on Thursday was a calculated risk we felt needed to be taken. After postponing the Lorie Line concert from Tuesday until Thursday night, we reserved the Osseo High School auditorium in the event of rain. After hearing from the National Weather Service that Thursday night’s rain wasn’t predicted to arrive until after midnight Friday, we decided to go ahead with the outdoor concert, and released the auditorium.

But while Mother Nature didn’t cooperate with us on Thursday night, we would like to make things right with everyone who held a ticket for the Lorie Line event. As you know, the purpose of this concert was always to raise money to purchase new picnic tables and repair sidewalks in the park. And because this year’s concert was cut short by half, we don’t think people should pay the full price for half of a concert.

As a result, we plan to repay 50 percent of the ticket price to our faithful concert goers. Wiley Properties, as the underwriter, will be providing the refund. All refunds will be made in the form of a check, so please download the PDF form and mail it to Wiley Properties, c/o Osseo Business Association, PO Box 639, Osseo, MN 55369. We need to receive your refund request form no later than September 15th, 2010 in order to process the refunds in a timely fashion. All checks will be processed and issued on October 1st, 2010.

We appreciate your continued support of all our concerts and movies in the park. We enjoy facilitating this experience for Osseo residents and visitors

Sincerely,

Barb and Bruce Wiley
